They will say that they want your item and will be there to pick it up and then they will not show.  Not everyone, of course, but of the 6-7 things I've sold on CL, about half attracted people who never showed up.  <P>I try to price things cheap, but leave some room for negotiation, especially on anything valuable.<BR>HTH.
