Back in September I had saved up and bought 4 tickets to Wicked. The show was January 2. Guess what we did that night? It wasn't go to show. We completely forgot about it. the tickets were in the cupboard and I hadn't marked it on my new calendar, so we missed it. Tickets were $50 each! I am so mad at myself and want to cry for spending that much to begin with, and we didn't even get to see the show. Both my kids really wanted to go, they had begged for the tickets and that was actually a birthday gift for one of them (bd in September when I ordered them!) So my kids are mad at me for forgetting.

The only one not upset is my DH, he was the one who noticed the tickets in the cupboard and just casually mentioned it last night.

However, I keep a calendar in my kitchen writing down all appts, etc., right away and if I buy tickets months in advance, I just paper-clip it on the calendar, as well as writing it down so I won't forget, otherwise I would, then get all upset about it later!! As for the kids, would make up by doing something special they would like to do another time. Then I would eat a pint of Ben & Jerry's over losing $200 on the tickets that I forgot about...haha!! Have you tried to call the box office to find out if they would give you a credit or tickets for another show? It is worth a try I had worked for a someone once who got tickets for a show and then decided not to go well he had me call the theater for him a few days after and they did give him tickets for another day ! I was shocked cos I really thought it was a lost cause
