General went to meet his sister,Patsy in heaven on saturday.He always was her hero so at least they are together again.We are very sad to lose both dogs so quickly,Patsy left us in Novemeber.Thanks again for all the thoughts and prayers.Both Bernese Mtn Dogs are in pain free now and will be terribly missed!!! I'm so very sorry. I'm sure it was the same type of cancer that took them both. I'm sure they are both playing and glad to be together again.
I know the pain. It was just a year ago December 17th that I lost my little one. She was only 8 years old.

and also known for getting cancer,,esp the females...General(8) became sick in October and Patsy(5) was not sick then but had pea size tumors that grew fast and we had to put her to sleep in November.She loved her big brother General,who was doing well until a few days before Saturday when we had to put him to sleep.We lost Ria to the same cancer in 2000 and got General the spring of 2001 from the same breader,she also lost 5-6 Berners to cancer this year..thanks for listening and letting me ramble,it does help,,,Barb 10|3|Will keep you in my prayers Barb!!!
