You list the item like you would on ebay. Pics are very helpful. If someone is interested they will email or call you. Then you set up a time and place for the person to see the item in person. Hopefully they buy it right then.

and have had good experiences. List what you have and a picture, plus a good description. I have bought and sold mostly kid stuff. My husband bought our cars, sold a car and car parts, and furniture with no problems.
If we are selling anything we like to put it in the garage so people can't see what we have in the house or the layout of the place in case they are 'casing' the place. You might want to have someone present with you when someone comes to see your dress.
But yeah, give it a try.

Get this, I put a post on cl asking anyone that had a mental swing set for sale cheap for my grandson.
Well it was on there 2 months. Then New yrs eve, I got an email saying you can have this but you need
to come get it asap. Well Mike and my son in law borrow my dad's truck and went and got it. Very big
big, no rust, only had been used about 6 months! Praise the Lord. I gave away an mattress set the week
earlier. God never lets a good deed go unnoticed.
