I think and its a big think they other makes to much bubbles and it wont rinse out good like i said this is why i think you have to use the special kind 2|2|I have a front loader -- you can use non-HE soap but you really have to cut back on how much you use. A little goes a long way. Like for the All small and mighty - I use half a cap full and that's for a large, everything's stuffed in there kind of load.|Sara_s_Mom|IClipCoupons@gmail.com|17:09:42|01/04/2009|

We purchased a new HE washing machine appx 3 years ago and I used regular detergent for appx 2 1/2 of those years. I also just reduced the amt being used. I did not notice any problems, however, a repairman who needed to work on it (unrelated issue to detergent) could tell immediately that I was using regular bc it builds up in the system that disperses it and he could also tell by my dryer bc it has stained blue on the inside drum from the detergent coloring that was still in our clothes. I finished up all of my non-HE stockpile about 6 months ago and began using HE detergent. I do not notice any difference in our clothes. I used regular GAIN and TIDE and I am now using HE Purex.

Stacey 5|1|My sister has one.. she was told it's bad for your machine to use reg. with an HE machine.. m|Kristy|mi3zons1@yahoo.com|14:10:25|01/05/2009|

Similiar to what was said above my sister said she was told it wears the washing machine out faster if you use non HE in an HE machine. She was told regular soap builds up on the inside of the machine and can it causes the hoses to get gunked up and all the parts have to be changed more often. Basically it wears the machine out faster.

I always use regular detergent and liquid softener, but use half as much. No problems. It has been taken apart (for unrelated recall) and repairman found no problems. Hope that helps. 8|2|thanks ya'll i will have to use the regular cuz i can't afford to get the HE right now esp now that i am stocked up and money is NONe right now |lydzkydz|lydzmcss@yahoo.com|22:00:45|01/05/2009|
