The carts have a slot in them to put a quarter in, you get it back when you return the cart. We take our own cloth bags to use, but can also buy paper or plastic bags for them, I think they are 10 cents a bag..Also since they stock items on the shelves in boxes, you can take the boxes, just have to move the items in them..

they sell very few name brands mostly adii brands and they take no coupons plus usually one cashier and the lines are really long they only have 2 people working at a time and one is usually stocking. most of the stuff that i tried I didn't like the only thing I really buy there is there applesauce my grandson is so used to cheap he won't eat the good stuff, I don't like their produce at all its usually old here and taste bad like its been in old storage there eggs look funny too like they are old my mom likes there stuff and buys most of her grocery there, just differnt taste I guess. If you have never shopped there I would suggest youn only buy 1 or 2 of a certain thng to see if you like it, Linda 5|5|we shop there alot......we like it....|couponsnsamples|cpsnsamples@aol.com|22:52:16|01/01/2009|

milk is always cheaper than other stores.......produce is always good here....apples,grapes always cheaper than other stores....we love the hams....whole turkeys are usually pretty cheap there also 6|1|I used to shop there occasionally...but I do better with coupons at the regular store. yes, you have to bag your own and either bring your own bags or pay .05 or .10 for theirs (years ago...don't know if it went up).|Barb09|Barb0969@AOL.com|23:01:15|01/01/2009|

we have a real nice store, I know there are some that are not as nice. I have a regular list of things I buy there, mostly dairy and produce. I like their stir fry mixes, spiral ham, premade beef patties. I purchased a couple of the cloth like bags from the store, for 1.99 they are larger than most, and I really like them. I think you just have to check out your store to see if you like them, I have went to some where they did not get good produce, our is almost always great.

We really save a ton of money by shopping at Aldi's. The produce is always fresh and much, much cheaper than Wegman's or Tops. We buy a lot of their pork chops and spiral ham.

The only product we have ever found that we didn't care for was their generic cheese. But then again, I don't like any generic cheese.

I love it I do save money on my can beans, tomato items, fresh vegies, but most of all I buy the bags of chicken breast real nice size breast skinless and boneless and great quality. Just a heads up my husband works for the company who makes there cookies, wheat cereal and grams, crackers and they also make for keebler, walmart and most store brands, so what I am saying its all the same stuff just different boxes. I use my knitted plastic bags that I made a few years ago they real do hold up under alot of use. 12|1|aldi's|ppe1952|MATWELL3@ROCHESTER.RR.COM|15:59:34|01/02/2009|

i like them for certain things.they have 1 lb groundbeef rolls and 1 lb frozen turkey rools at a decent price. i also like their prepackaged danish- they only have 2 types- cream cheese and cinnamin raison and both are good.

they also have frozen bite sized eclairs and creanpuffs in plastic container--- those things are awesome.

sometimes they have some namebrand stuff reasonable but they donot take coupons. they also do not takes credit cards.

cash ,foodstamps, debit cards only.bring a 25¢ piece to get a cart.

mainly basics. sometimes i've found things cheaper that i used. lock n locks one time was about half price. i think this week they had Jimmy Dean's Flapstix like $2.00 cheaper than my grocers around here.
I just trial and error it. Try store brands at Walmart, Grocery Stores, etc. I have found that most of the items i used to buy can be purchase other places for .40-sometimes up to $2.00 cheaper! Well, where do you think i'm going to buy them? LOL!

once I went shopping with all four kids, youngest was a baby. We went to get out of the car to go into the store, when one of my kids starting throwing up. Luckily I parked next to a grassed park way. Then the next child got out of the car, saw the first, and started also. Then the third got out of the car saw the other two, and started also. I had three out of four standing in the parking lot, sick. We went straight home, lol. Sorry all the talk about Aldi's made me remember that fun shopping trip.
