2 0|0|Has anybody had this happen to them at the checkout line?|BUCKINCRAZEE|Redhat105@Hotmail.com|03:14:08|12/31/2008|

I'm at the selfscan with my two $2 Beringer winetags and I notice that one of them scans for 50 cents less
than it was supposed to. I've had this happen to me ONCE before with a coupon and at the time the amount it scanned
for was in MY favor so I didn't say anything. This time I decided to point out the discrepancy to the selfscan monitor person there,
and he tells me that I'd have to go to customer service to get it resolved. I looked at the guy and told him I was pleased with the transaction
just as it was, and that I wasn't going to go to customer service. Isn't that pretty wild though that coupons don't scan at their face value? 1|1|? Why would you not have it fixed? I wouldn't be surprised it didn't scsn right as you yourself said they have scanned differently in your favor before so it can go both ways|teener|teenerzacsneenee@yahoo.com|06:17:36|12/31/2008|

Teener, yes [I've learned] that coupons can scan both ways -- sometimes in your favor, and sometimes not.
This time the $2 WT scanned in the store's favor for 50 cents [Pathmark]. Another time years ago it happened to me at CVS
and a coupon scanned for $1.25 above face value.

Now, in regards to your question as to why I didn't get it 'fixed'. The customer service line at Pathmark is
not worth the wait for 50 cents.
