Yep..finally made it to Wallyworld! While I was in the area daughter and I went to the Kmart, B&BW, Blockbuster and a couple other places including Family Dollar. Ya know..I never seen ANY super great deals to be found with the exception of a nice sized table top Christmas tree..pretty tall one!...trimmings and all for only $7 at the Dollar store. Bought it for my single son..and his 2 kitties of course..for next year. He never does the tree thing otherwise. Really nice..bows, ornaments but no lights to light up but hey..he can pick them up cheap enough for a small string of them. :)
No store had anything marked down other than 50% (than the tree of course). I was disappointed..expected to see more marked down stuff this late after Christmas. The mgr at dollar store said she didn't know if they were even going to mark down to 75% like they usually do. Rough all over this year I guess... 1|1|I know the relief you feel! LOL I didnt go shopping around anywhere else, but WM didnt have much for Cmas clearance at all...mainly candy, gift sets (food, etc), and some cologne/aftershave sets....only 50% off, so I passed on it all. The tree you found sounds like a nice deal though! :) Our dollar store doesnt mark stuff down anymore, they pack it up and put it in storage til next Cmas :(|saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|18:53:55|12/29/2008|
