From one of my sisters, a pair of tights that are a size 4!! Just looking at the waistband I can see that I MIGHT be able to fit 1 of my legs into that part alone but NO way am I going to be able to fit my big caboose in it. LOLOL Sheesh! I haven't fit into a size 4 since I was in high school. ROFL!! She also gave me some perfumy Fragrant Diffuser thing which I can't tolerate cuz it's way too strong for my asthmatic lungs. The sister I got them from wears about a size 4-5 & she has her 50th birthday coming up in March so guess what she'll be getting.... Hee! Hee!
I remember a couple other Christmases where others got not-so-great gifts. The 1st Christmas after my dad got all his teeth pulled (I believe it was just a month after), one of my nieces gave him a gift-pack of mixed nuts. My dad, not one to beat around the bush asked, "What am I supposed to do w/this?" & rolled the cans across the floor back to my niece.
I also remember a couple Christmases when my son was younger. The one year he got a record player from his dad which was obviously used as it was filthy dirty. He could've at least cleaned it up but didn't even put it in a box or wrap it; just left it like that on our step. The kicker was it didn't even work! When my son was 11, his dad left a used circular saw in an open box on the step. It too was used as it had sawdust all over in/on it but I didn't think it very appropriate to give an 11 yr. old something so dangerous so I put it away. A couple yrs. ago, we took it out to use it for something & that didn't work either. :-p
