as the weather here has been so very bad. Day nurse just called off...just too icy and foggy out there today and along our roads here are VERY deep ditches..don't want to even THINK about sliding into them or you are a 'goner'. Took hubby about 45 min just to get to work this morning and he is hoping to leave early as well in this nasty stuff.
I did get a ham so might cook that tomorrow and a few side dishes to go with. Nothing exciting as it's just us here for the holiday. :)

:) 3|1|Doing the cooking today....buffet style goodies....Swedish meatballs, jumbo shrimp cocktail, homemade mini pizzas, cheese/sausage tray, crackers, chips/veggies and dip, chocolate mousse, and put a turkey in the oven this morning to have some sliced turkey for sandwiches. Will is helping me cook tommorrow, he always does and I appreciate him so very much. We are having a spiral ham, scalloped potatoes, a veggie and rolls. The dessert will be carrot cake and cookies. We also got a veggie tray and crackers to snack on throughout the day too. I just feel the holidays should be about being able to relax and enjoy oursleves and not be so stressed about a huge meal. Next year I'd really like to do enchiladas or something different. There's going to be 6 of us here, my ex is coming up with our son Matthew and they are gonna stay the night. I don't feel so well anyways so I really am not up to making a huge feast. I hope you all have a blessed Christmas, ours wouldn't be so wonderful if we didn't have friends like all of you in our lives. Hugs, Rebekka
