OMG! We picked him up @ the airport last night and I'm very, very concerned about my (almost 20 yr. old) son.!!!!!
Not only is he *extremely* thin (he was too thin in Aug., and his dad led me to believe he'd been eating *more* lately), but his skin (terrible acne) looked horrible. I'm not sure whether he's stopped taking his meds. for that, or if the meds. are no longer working the way they did, or if he's only missed one or two appts?!?! I emailed his dad (my ex) to address some of my concerns.
My son is absolutely depressed in a major way---it's very obvious to me after only spending an hr. with him. He barely hugged me @ the airport (and we have a wonderful relationship!) and it was like pulling teeth to get him to say more than a few words during the hr. long drive hm?!
He's back into online gaming in a big way---he has an ADDICTION with this, but is in denial...and at his age, his father & I have spoken several times about this---our hands are tied as to how much we can do about it!! There ARE steps his father needs to take (like cancelling Internet & cable at hm.), but my son owns a laptop computer, so what does a parent do?!?
Please, everyone...I'm asking you to lift my son in prayer. He obviously needs help and he's again in denial, and refuses to go talk to a therapist or anyone else for that matter. I'm going to *try* to talk to him, but I have to tread very lightly---I honestly don't know how I'm going to approach this. I'm very stressed out because he was doing SOOOO well just a yr. ago?!?!? He's also recently dropped out of college! Ugh...
I could go on and on, but you all get the drift. Pray that God will help him through whatever's going on in his life.

It hurts me so much to see him obviously dealing with something, and I plan to talk to him while he's out here, just taking it slow. I don't want to pressure him or say the wrong thing, in the wrong way. It's difficult...

...you'd have to understand, he's acted this way before, but NOT to this extreme. He has an online gaming addiction, BIG TIME> to the point where it's now taking over his life and he is in complete and utter denial!
