I think that's what it's called anyway.
It's a fat hose about 6" long (similar to a car's radiator hose) right inside the washer's frame that goes from the tub to the pump & helps drain out the used water. It should be in the front but towards the bottom? Maybe it's disengaged or cracked. I had this happen on an old Maytag topload once. The hose was split. I just replaced it w/a piece of radiator hose I had laying around & clamped it in place. Never had a problem after that. :)
HTH. :)

is the basket pulled to the front? this happened to me today because i washed my comforter. when i pulled it out of the washer i pulled the basket forward which makes the water leak out and not into the washing machine. 3|2|TY for the responses. that hose. No screws, it is all little plastic pieces pushed into holes to attach the back, any ideas?

4|3|needle nose pliers for the plastic rivits should get them out...........|pussecat|pu55ecat@aol.com|22:26:32|12/22/2008|

you may have to replace them as they may break apart after you take them off but needle nosed pliers usually do the trick.

also, i had a washer leaking a lot of water once and it had a hole in the washtub. try looking for "suspicious" holes when you get the back off.

hth and good luck! :)
