Winds are howling..weather alert is saying with wind chills will be like -25 to -30 outside. Brrrrr!!! I am SOO happy we went ahead and scrimped and saved to get those 8 new windows in this old farmhouse this year. What a difference that is making!! Now..as long as we keep electric and heat in house we will be good to go. I hear the ice falling off the trees from the ice storm the other day hitting the house and windows off and on too. Heard a BIG thud earlier..guessing it's a big limb broke off due to the ice on it and the wind and hit the roof. Hope there is no damage but won't know till much later am sure. <P>Stay safe and warm there!! I keep praying everyone will stay warm & safe with this bizarre weather!

How DO they survive up there in the upper regions?! Everytime I watch Ice Road Truckers and they talk about it being -45º and such I am thinking how DO they survive in that frigid cold never the less WANT to live there??...<BR>
