The stores have raised their prices when gasoline prices gone up.
Now with gasoline prices down over 30%, you would think that food prices come down accordingly.
I am not seeing any adjustments made.
All the utilities, food stores, transportation, airlines and everyone else added gasoline surcharge.
I wish they all adjusted down now that gas is affordable again.
No one in the media is talking about it.
No politicians are concerned.
It just bothers me very much.
My 2 cents.

And I'm irritated by it cuz it appears to be a bunch of b.s. cuz like you said, that gas sur-charge was tacked on to all those things when the gas prices went up. So.... now I've been wondering, ok, the price of gas has decreased, & quite a bit I might add, so why is the cost of everything else still so high &/or continuing to go up??? Where's the "balancing out" now??? Particularly when people are losing their jobs & their homes; they still have to eat! And how can property taxes increase when the assessed values are decreasing & the housing market is down??? Is this the last "pocket hurrah" for those leaving office next month???

As for everything else, including food, with the value of the dollar continuing to fall, must consider the inflation rate and food prices will probably go up 40-50% next year from what I've been reading. So yeah, things do look bleak from here on out. 4|2|yep..OPEC said the other day they were cutting production|Skaytes|skaytez@gmail.com|18:07:14|12/19/2008|

need our cash to keep their economies from going in the tank. They're running out of money, so with OPEC cutting production, the gas prices will rise again. I say we start drilling our own oil from now on - DRILL HERE, DRILL NOW!!
