We actually had a nice break from it yesterday and there was this bright warm "thing" in the sky that looked a little familiar, but I just wasn't sure because it had been so long since I had seen it. This morning we had another warning and afternoon/evening as in right this second as I type, the snow is falling and falling and I hear we might even be looking at a "no school" day tomorrow.
When I first moved to Oregon, I genuinely liked snow. Now all I can do is sigh. I can't shake off this cold/cough/sickness and it is settling in my lungs. I have about a million things to do before Thursday and no energy at all, but at least all of my kids are well and I am really grateful for that. As hard as it is to keep up with a 3 year old while sick, it is a whole lot harder to take care of a sick little kid and I know that. Just reminding myself of what is good. LOL.

Got grown son here last night...he and neighbors cleared out driveways this morning..will have to be done again very shortly...we live on a dead-end street that hasn't been plowed or salted by the county in 7 years...thankfully all the neighbors help...and most of us on the street came over on the Mayflower...even the tractors are old!
Fortunately, we all watch out for each other...and no one has any "have-to" do stuff today.
Sure looks pretty out there, though!

At 4 a.m. it wasn't even snowing enough by my house to fill in my dog's footprints from last night, but they still had the schools closed before 5 a.m. It has been coming down non-stop ever since though, I have been laughing at my neighbor who has been out there snowblowing since 6 a.m, as fast as he finishes one area, it gets filled back up! My DH is waiting for the snow to stop before he gets started, no sense doing it over and over.
