Our superhero gets particularly enraged whenever someone calls him "a--hole," and we hear that particular phrase upwards of 20 times, sometimes from the mouths of children. Remove the second half of the compound putdown, and you can add another dozen exclamations. The f-word is spoken twice, the s-word nearly 10 times. "P---k" and "p---" are used. Someone makes an obscene gesture. Hancock pairs God's name with "d--n," and Christ's name is abused once.

From my favorite movie site www.pluggedinonline.com

I love this site

http://www.commonsensemedia.org/

They give you good info on what's appropriate for different ages, parent's takes on how to talk about things in the media, etc. I look there before letting my kids watch movies.

I looked and looked and found no coupons for troll food......SO, I don't feed the trolls!! 11|2|Quite honestly and shockingly...none of the words in "Hancock" does my 10 year old not hear at school or on the bus. Sex scenes worry me more and I don't recall any of those.|Barb09|Barb0969@AOL.com|11:06:05|12/14/2008|

I would not take my 9 year old to see this, although I myself enjoyed it. He is too naive plus I don't like alot of that adult peril, and to see this adult man/ superhero having such problems coping with life's issues that he is being a drunk etc. However, his friend did see it and enjoyed it- but he is much more experienced than my son is.

Stacey =) 14|5|Well Stacey thank you for your imput my children are home schooled so they naive to that kind of stuff too. We keep it real to what we think their ages can handle thanks JEANNIE|jeannie1017|ajgsartwell@aol.com|11:43:42|12/16/2008|
