I really think we have one of the most corrupt states in the country. How shameful for a man to be so full of himself. I feel so sorry for his young kids. I am glad they stopped him before he sold Obamas senate seat to the highest bidder.

I think there's a few more state & local government offices that could use more scrutiny & house cleaning.... When I was having trouble w/my former landlord, the HUD lady I spoke w/agreed that it sounded like there was alot of corruption in my area. There is SO much corruption & "back-scratching" going on anymore - political, the justice/legal system medical, private/public businesses (just to name a few) - that it's really pathetic. :(

& that's when they get caught. Like the VP at the bank here in town - worked there for 25 yrs. (since he was 18) w/the last 10 yrs. being Sr. VP. Admitted he'd been embezzling for that whole 10 yrs. when he just finally got caught 3 yrs. ago. Guess he figured he'd worked there for so long & been Sr. VP for so long that nobody would suspect that the money & flash he flaunted or so "generously" donated to worthy causes was dirty money. Wonder how he likes the Fed prison...
Or the local city government officials here who hold unposted & illegal "meetings" in public taverns or over the phone, look the other way if it's one of their "buddies" who breaks a city ordinance & overcharge or deny building permits, etc. if you're NOT one of their "buddies", just to name a few....
And then there was the long-time, local pharmacist who finally got nailed for illegally dispensing narcotics, shorting prescriptions & forging drs. names on fake prescriptions, just to name a few. He'll never work in a pharmacy or near any medical facility again. Oh, but he was just "helping" people out of the "goodness" of his heart.
Yea, right! And I'm Bobo Rockefeller. :-p

NH has a lot less taxes than in NJ. Our state of NJ has one of the highest property taxes and we're #1 in highest auto insurance rates in the country. NH has no general income tax, no general sales tax, no capital gains tax, no inventory tax, no tax on machinery or equipment and NH has more freedoms than in NJ. We bought 10 acre piece of property for $69K, which is cheap and will not find that kind of property for that price here in NJ!! I rather have more money in my pocket than pay more taxes living in NJ!!
