I'm finishing up wrapping what all I've bought so far, this morning. I have this tradition which I've done for years now, just made it up & curious if anyone else does this??
I'll buy something (this year it's 2 presents, usually only one) and wrap and put from Santa, to the WHOLE FAMILY. It's always a game or something we can do *together*....this yr. I've got a jigsaw puzzle (2000 pieces!) since I learned Ron loves to do puzzles as much as I do!
I also bought a card game which my (ex) and our family played for years----"Mille Bourne", it's a French car racing game...and we just love it, it's not hard to learn and I've been trying to explain it to Ron and his son for a while now. I had a hard time finding it in stores, had to order it online...I'm SOOO excited. We play board games on New Years Eve, it's another family tradition which I've carried on to my *new* family and they love it; especially my step-kids; their parents never played games with them?!
Ok, I'm done rambing now.....guess I've had too much coffee, or I'm kinda getting into the Christmas mood...finally! lol

We do something like this too, only we do a gift from our puppy dog to the whole famiy and it's usually a board game, puzzle, card games or craft... The kids think it's neat the puppy dog thought about them and it's something fun for us all to do as a family....Hugs, Rebekka

I don't know where I ever came up w/the idea, but I've come to love doing this~~I think it's a really neat way to encourage family together-ness, which to me, is a big part of Christmas anyway!

My parents always did this when I was a kid & actually, my mom still gives us presents from "Santa". LOL I've continued this tradition w/my son & of course, "Santa" always gives my mom presents too. ;)
