I'm sitting here watching "In the Good Ol' Summertime" with Judy Garland, just finished watching "Meet me in St. Louis" with Judy Garland. Not much else going on, we finally put up the Christmas tree, it looks so pretty. It is brisky cold tonight, so I may make some hot cocoa soon. Hugs, Rebekka

Our high school Junior class had a fundraiser for "parents night out" and from 6-10 they watched the kids (pretty reasonable I thought, both kids were only $25 for 4 hours) So hubby and I turned on Christmas music ,made a pot of decaff coffee and wrapped for the evening. It was really nice to have his help and we got some quality time together too... What a great idea -- The kids had a BLAST and played with the juniors all night (of course the class advisors were there to supervise) they did arts and crafts, watched movies, face painting, basketball, hopscotch, and had a snack too!!! The kids are still talking about how much fun they had -- 40 minutes after we picked them up!

Freezing cold here also a chilly 19 degrees, I have'nt put my tree up yet, I have to pull it up from the basement storage, will probably do it this coming week as I won't have time this weekend to do it.

I'm watching 20/20 on ABC & trying to drown out the "band" noise by playing Spider Solitaire. LOL Also counting my blessings that we're all snug & warm inside for the night while the weather outside is frightening. ;)
Plugged in the steam vaporizor to add some needed warm humidity. My poor little dog is kind of cringing everytime she comes near me cuz I've accidently "snapped" her a few times due to the static from the dry air. LOL Hopefully the snow we're now getting will help alleviate some of that.....

and to save on the batteries. LOL But as it usually goes, when one of your senses is decreased, your other senses tend to become more keen, & I guess my sense of feeling has really sharpened cuz I can definitely feel the floor shaking under my feet. LOLOL

9|4|Good idea to save on the batteries, when were were in AZ, the kids use to play Rockband on the PS2 and boy sometimes that can get on your nerves too, it's in storage now. LOL. I may have to take out the cribbage board & have my son refresh my memory on it. I love playing just about any kind of card game - Uno, Dirty Clubs, 500, Rummy Royal, Crazy 8's, Euchre, Sh*t on Your Neighbor, BlackJack/21 - any kind of Poker, Hearts, even Old Maid. LOL
