Today is my best friend Diane's 45th birthday. We've been friends for 28 years in January. Her father also passed away on her 23rd birthday, so 22 years ago today he passed away. It doesn't seem like it, time sure goes fast. To think I've known her since she was in high school, wow now I feel old. LOL. Rebekka

I thought you were young all this time or way younger than me i'm 43, as I see your posts and you refer to people as "girlie" my niece uses that statement so I assumed you were in your 30's..I don't know what age you are...but your young at heart which is great!

Awwwww thank you for the compliment girlie. I think Cheyenne keeps me young. LOL. I turned 48 in September. My oldest boy is 28, my teenage boy is 16 and my little princess is 9 and my hubby is 39. I've always looked young for my age, in fact, when my oldest was little they always thought I was his sister and once when I went with him to a dr. appt. they thought I was his wife. LMAO. There are offline friends that I've had since before Kindergarten & since I'm 44, 40 yrs. is a loooong time & hard to believe. ;) We went thru all our school years together & have kept in pretty reg. contact since we left those school years behind. Amazing but also very awesome. :)
What really knocks me for a loop is my son being 17, turning 18 in just 4 more months! I may not remember what I did last week or ate for lunch 2 days ago but I remember the day he was born & all those baby/toddler/pre-teen & teen yrs. like yesterday, clear as a bell. Sometimes when I'm thinking back to his baby years, it seems like I'm all of a sudden fast-forwarded to now cuz I can't believe how fast the years have gone by. :(

I totally know how you feel, and it's weird that I can talk about things that happened over 40 years ago. LOL. Some things that happened a year but it amazes me that I remember when my oldest started walking and such and that was over 27 years ago....Hugs, Rebekka
