ok so i checked the mail and got the cable bill....... well b4 we left for charlotte one of our cable boxes went out so we had to get a new one....... well it didn't reset the password for the on demand features and guess what? pj bought $302.94 worth of movies! a total of 43! i almost DIED!
so i've just gotten off the phone with 3 different people at comcast and managed to shave 80% off the total. so, instead of paying $300 we pay $60. i can't believe this happened! and the only reason they took the 80% off is cuz we have the $3 a month service plan and our box went out and we were not informed that we had to reset it. at first, the 2nd lady i talked to didn't want to take ANY of it off. i was like huh? the movies were ordered back to back, literally, one at 8:15 and other at 8:16 the next at 8:17 and so on.
in any case, after an hour of haggling i finally got someone who agreed that we really didn't "mean" to buy all of these movies and he took the 80% off. and thankfully, we can split that $60 up into 2 payments. i mean heck, our cable, internet, and phone bill is already $150 a month kwim?
so, here's one for the books! and if you have on demand, make SURE you set up the parental controls!

edited to add: also had our account set up where the spending limit is $0.00 and if we want to buy a movie we have to call in first.

the bill was around 300, my mom just paid it, figured it was her own fault for not having it set right. I told her I would be making the little one work it off, lol, she is in 2nd grade and should know better. She just kept buying the same movie over and over, and it is a movie they have on tape, so my mom thought she was putting the tape in.
