How is everything? Hope you are all well and enjoying the holiday season. I went and did a lil' Christmas shopping a short while ago. Only about 1/2 way done, just can't seem to get anyone to tell me what they want this year!!
It's supposed to be very nasty weather starting this evening, temps around 24 degrees and a high tomorrow of only 28!! So, that's one reason I'm out running errands and such *today*....think I'll stay in by the fireplace tomorrow...lol

....yeah, I'm about ready for the holidays, at least with the decorating. Still working on the shopping for gifts. Have to go out again tomorrow because my younger son finally gave me a really good w/l. I love shopping for my kids! It didn't snow, but it's unbearably cold today...high of 26!! brrrr......I had to run out to the grocery store for milk and while I was there I picked up some items for the local food pantry. Ron & I have been contributing weekly to this~~~the need is so great and it's not a hardship to just put a few extra items into my shopping cart each week or so.
I have the tree up, and my son and I started decorating it, but will work on it more tonight & tomorrow night, till it's done. I brought out all my Lemax lighted houses and Ron's going to help me set them up on the mantle; everything looks so pretty. I'm excited for my older son and my nephew & his family to come visit...my ex will also be here for about 5 days.
Gotta run...I'm trying to get a roast in the oven for dinner, making homemade bread in the breadmaker right now and peeling potatoes and getting carrots ready to put w/the roast...yum!!

Sounds like you've been busy girlie. I think it's a great idea to get a few things for the food pantries, every little bit does help out. I know how you feel about seeing your son and nephew, I'm so glad to be back in VA, I hadn't seen my oldest son in 3 long years.
