would anyone know what to charge for this?
It would be every other week.

The house is 3 bedrooms on the top floor 1 bath, the main floor is kitchen, family room. living room, playroom 1 1/2 bath.

The basement doesn't need to get cleaned.

It would be laundry for 5 - 2 adults, 2 babies, 1 teen.

Anywhere from $12.50 - $25 per hour. Since it's a 2-story house & there's laundry involved, I would guess that $20 an hour would seem appropriate. I say that cuz there's the bathrooms & cleaning up after kids. If it was just a 1-floor office area w/no bathroom/laundry to be cleaned, I would then probably guess around more like $15/hour.
You could always call around to business places, motels, etc. in your area & try & get an idea by what they pay for housekeeping/laundry. Make sure to ask if 1 floor & the approx. size, per room, is laundry included or extra, etc.
HTH. :)

Just something to think about when pricing.

Will you have to change bed linens etc? Will you have to iron?

I would say $100. 9|1|My husband used to work at a hotel|Arizona|vbj48@cox.net|10:15:49|12/01/2008|

If you have to clean a full house every two weeks and do all laundry for 2 week I don't see it getting done in just 5 hours every two weeks. JMO, that's alot to do in 5 hours every other week.

housecleaning around here goes for about $8 an hour since it is considered unskilled labor. 18|3|I think it just depends on your area, and what it costs to live in your area.|Quietwaters|Quietwaters39@hotmail.com|09:04:26|12/02/2008|

$2.50 per load which included folding it all and putting it away. If house was really messy or dirty, she would charge extra money to clean. And would charge $5 to handwash dishes, charged $20 to clean out fridge, $30 to clean out stove. We did not clean windows or blinds. But took garbage out at end, and she even offered dog walking also for a small fee.
