Since my mom had a mammogram appt. this morning anyway, I thought we could leave a little earlier so we could swing into Walmart real quick as I wanted to grab up a couple of DVD's that were on sale. Got the new Indiana Jones, Kung Fu Panda & Iron Man DVD's all for $9 each! Also got some other DVD's for just $2 each! Except for those & waffles, that was it for me cuz it was still crazy even tho the sales were ending at 11 a.m. (we were in there from about 10:15 to 10:30). That was enough for me. :-p Since I just wanted to run in & back out, I went thru the "Speedy Checkout" which turned out to be a major joke cuz the clerk was slower than molasses in January!
Just grateful we made it in/out alive but I was still worked up cuz of the chaos by the time we got to my mom's appt. SOOOOO glad to be back home!

u couldnt get anything until 5..........there were 16 xbox360 apparently pr store.........they grabbed them like a bunch of kids fighting!...one girl.....elbowed an OLD woman in the face trying to take the xbox........
we went to kmart around 11 today......had a boy asking to see a piece of jewelry and then break and run out the door...........but security escorted him back in in handcuffs...........
toyrus.........had the stupidest way of doing stuff today........they had registers blocked off........and had customers escorted to the register.......one at a time.............two lines ran all the way around the store.....i just put my stuff down and walked out..........id rather pay more and forget the hassle

NO amount of sales is worth the price of someone's life! Geez! :( If the parking lot would've been packed at the Walmart we went to, I certainly would've driven right on by cuz there's NO way I would've let my mom enter that store. As it was, I believe we missed the worst of it as we were able to find a parking space close to the building, & I seen several other vacant spaces. That told me it wouldn't be so bad. Kept my mom w/in reach so we both were able to get what we wanted & hightail it back out. There was alot of people in there but they seemed to be congregated in certain areas (electronics for sure) & if there was a mob around the area in which my mom wanted to get something, I just got it for her so she didn't have to try to fight her way thru. ;) Granted, there are definitely some very rude & obnoxious people around here but for the most part, they're mellower than what I hear/read about for other areas.

5|1|I got to one at 5:05 all the bikes I wanted were gone except of one and it was torn open and parts were on the floor. So I got the other one on sale a bit more expensive but a few folks paid there ebay today so I had enough in my paypal. They were out of the $4.00 hand blender and 2qt crockpot oh well. Had to go to CVS and stoped by our closer non super walmart got there around 10 belive it or not there was the bike I wanted 2 full palletes and and the other items who would have thought that the small walmart would still have the items from the ad so many hours after the sale started. for my x-mas present, very excited I wanted one last year, but they were going for $150 at that time...I have it loaded with pics right now he set up last night the sd card he bought to go with it...Looks really nice on my living room wall unit, and shuts off automatically at night right before bed time, and will turn back on by itself during the day.

and to Kohls. Some of the outlet mall stores opened Thanksgiving night at 10 pm, others at midnight. It was all reasonably calm & fast paced. Was not out to get the big ticket items but just wanted some good deals. We were done there at about 1:30am so then ventured to Kohls which did not open til 4 am and again reasonably calm. So all in all a good time except for being sooooo tired & pooped out the next day.
