dead yesterday morning, they think her heart gave out during the night. I just feel in shock over it. She is older but had not been sick. I was worried about her on Saturday because she did not answer her phone or door, I keep a key, so I was fixing to go in and check on her and called one more time, and she answered. She was napping on the couch, and was unlike her to sleep so deep that she did not hear the phone. We talked about her keeping the phone with her when she napped. Other than being tired she seemed fine. I was gone all day Sunday, so I did not see her. She was suppose to go shopping yesterday morning with a friend, and did not answer the door when she came to pick her up. It is just so strange, because I had contact with her almost every day for 16 years. We took turns getting each others mail, we shared newspapers, we took care of her lawn, and shoveling, my big kids were just used to going to check on her and see what she might need, she brought me lunch all the time, usually when I was trying to diet, lol, an incredible cook. I think God puts people in your life for a reason, and I am thankful for the relationship we had with her, you always wish though, that you would know if someone was going to pass, because there is always something you wish you would have said to them.
Please keep her daughter in prayer, never easy for a woman to lose her mom.

I started crying again when I came home from work and saw her house, looking so empty. Just seems so strange.

It was terrible! My mom had been going over to help her. She was bedridden but due to depression issues and my mom was going over to feed the dog, open the drapes, get her mail, etc. Well, one day my mom goes over and the back door was wide open. Turns out the neighbor must have gotten up to let the dog out herself but between that time and when my mom found her, she died. My mom was quite shaken and it took a while to get over.
At least it wasn't violent. That would have been so much worse.
