Despite all that has gone on in the past five months, I am thankful for my family, our health ( a side note, my DD is fine:) and that in these times we have a roof over our heads, food in the house and that my DH still has his job.

Eph 5:20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
1. Very thankful I got sick with heart failure 8 yrs ago and was good as dead. I learned to live facing death and God has taught me by His Spirit the truth.
2. So thankful our car tires got slashed by our neighbor and yet another neighbor gave us new tires, we needed new tires anyhow, God is so good!
3. So thankful my Dad didn't buy me those "cool" jeans I wanted when I was 15 and instead told me: You don't need those jeans, you need character. He was right and that is just what I got.
4. Very thankful our money runs out way before the next paycheck so we depend upon God each day to provide. O Lord increase our faith indeed.
5. The first snow of winter, I am so blessed and overwhelmed and thank God that He has graciously allowed me to live to see another snowfall.

We have Blue Cross Blue Shield Federal. The most I ever pay for expensive prescriptions is $35 & that's for a 3 month supply! Normal prescriptions cost me about 6-8 dollars & some of them just a few cents, like my folic acid @ 89c for a months supply.
I have celiac disease, GERD & lots of other allergies & ailments so I basically NEED my meds to get by every day!

I felt like I almost had to just copy and paste all of your lists because I would just be saying the same things. There's the obvious: family, friends, roof, food, enough of what I need to stay alive.
I'm grateful that I notice beauty every day and I live in a city that is surrounded by mountains and hills. That my kids are getting a solid education from fine schools (the public schools here are very good!) I'm thankful that we are all healthy. And that I find a lot of things to be "funny" so I laugh a lot. I think life is pretty good when you are finding things to laugh about.
Oh and I am thankful that my car broke down a few months ago because it made me start walking and I got healthier again. Awhile ago I disclosed that I had a significant amount of weight that I wanted to lose (about 50 pounds) and that I hoped to get healthier and maybe even run again someday. Today I can jog a little bit. I'm about 14 pounds down from what I was and going in the right direction. I'm going for long walks about 2x a day on average and just started paying closer attention to calories which is something I honestly never really did before (probably why I need to!) I'm learning a lot and it is exciting.
And I am especially thankful for my RS friends!
