Then let us decide what we wanted to keep or pitch LOL

I have my Baby Go Bye-Bye, Easy Bake Oven, Barbie Country Camper, some of my little Tootsie Toy cars, my old report cards (not that those are anything to brag about. LOL) & a few other things. I did, however, toss out the old teeth that my mom had saved as they were big molars w/cavities & 2" roots. Is it no wonder they hurt me clear down to my toes??? Why, oh, why would I want to hang onto something that caused me so much pain?? LOLOL
I'm sure that in time, I will also be going thru the same dilemma when my son is older, out on his own & starting a family of his own. There's all his Tonka & John Deere toys, his report cards, his Cub Scout shirt, 1st baby booties, baby teeth (his aren't cavity laden like mine were. LOL), 1st haircut, 1st-birthday cards & 1st-Christmas things. Oh rabbits, now I'm getting boo-hooey just thinking about it. :`(

5|2|My mom had an original Raggedy Ann and Andy rag doll set for me, still in the boxes....hmmm, wonder what those are worth nowdays? I never played with them, I was afraid of dolls and clowns when I was little, lol|saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|21:57:08|11/23/2008|

From the 3 Billy Goats Gruff story. LOL I refused to cross any kind of bridge or walkway w/a ditch under it & would stand there hollering til someone came to walk w/me across. LOL
I've since outgrown my fear of trolls altho I still don't care much for bridges. There are a couple of them in IA that used to send me to the floorboards of a car. LOL
Interesting read on Wikipedia about the 3 Billy Goats Gruff. ;)

Our oldest son is almost 29 and on his own (well we are now staying with him), our other son is 16 and our little princess is 9, plus my baby girl puppy dog is 6. I think of her as a child and part of the family too. Anyways I think it's a neat idea to make up the boxes and give to your children and they can share them with their families and decide what to keep and what not. Hugs, Rebekka

I finally got rid of the bed a few years ago, (she has been gone 13 years) but her desk and all of the drawers are filled with her mementos. She doesn't have the extra room but seems like I do, LOL. Someday she will have to go thru them but for now, I have them.

so sometimes I would have to take something out in order to put something I thought was more important in.

I still have a doll collection at my moms house that she can't part with.
