I have an embarrassing question.....I'm scheduled for an appt. w/an OB/GYN this morning for a long-overdue pap & routine exam. Then she will refer me/schedule me for a mammogram. I just started my cycle this morning! Can they/will they even DO the exam at this TOM???

...When it was orig. scheduled, I thought it was going to be the wrong time~, but I'm going thru Menopause I'm fairly certain, and "things" are not always right on schedule...so I thought I'd wait and see. I had a feeling that the test wouldn't be accurate, that's why I posted. Guess I'll call them now.

And what they did there was just work around it since it wasn't really heavy. See, they make you wait too long in the waiting room, LOL.

I was a teenager, and had my period on and off for almost 8 weeks. By the time I told my mother. It was my first visit, and yuck, but it can be done. But totally advise, rescheduling if at all possible!!
Turned out, I was super sensitive to a nasal inhaler, prescribed to me, for nasal congestion. There was a steriod in it, and I was one of .0002% to get the whacky side effect. Just my luck....LOL donna
