We are trying to decide how to decorate our tree this year. Not sure what we wanna do so I thought I would check out some of your ideas

i use non traditional colored balls cross ornaments star ornaments etc i dont use iciles or garland i can never get those right lol and they wont come off the tree well

I do have a few glass but I don't even bother to put them out. Not worth it. I have some ceramic real thick ones I put on but they all go at the top. My kids decorate the tree. And my LED lights I got either last Christmas or the one before on clearance OR I get white or purple halloween clearance led lights.

I just stand back and let them work the magic. There are always a lot of ornaments and lights on the bottom and open spaces, but it is beautiful. 12|4|I have a light fetish.. they have gotten one every year since they were born. Then the first year they have their own family and tree, they take them with them. I am kind of looking forward to doing a themed tree one year. I do have a lot of dough boy ornaments. This morning my husband tells me he wants to take our vacation the week before Christmas. Now I am feeling all panicy, because that is when I do all my baking, decorating ect. I am not much into doing things weeks in advance.

and we have personalized ornaments for each year
and this year since all our grandparents are gone i bought some snowman couples and i will put each set of grandparents on an ornament and put them on our tree
then i will put our parents on a snowman couple and then hubby and i are one snowman couple
and the kids and cats have mittens i am writing the names on
i will also have snowflakes and plastic icicles on the tree
and who knows what else i just hope the cat will stay out of the tree LOL
a first for her
i just can't get in the spirit yet with all that has been going on
granny has been gone for 2 weeks now and it seems so unreal
she needs to be in her kitchen making pies and rolls and baking turkey
