for my grandbaby, she is one and half, so something very easy but cute. Something out of food would be fun, or something that could then be a center piece.

Thinking maybe you can find a pattern and whip it up out of felt or fabric. The veggies would be cute made into baby rattles or sqeakers in them and when done played with, the veggies could be stored in the cornucopia. Older children love to play with fake food, so think she'd get years of use out of it. Or could whip up a "tom the turkey" use as a centerpiece plus cute toy for the baby.
