Hi Everyone,
We finally made it to our son's place in VA. We got here yesterday afternoon. I am still wiped out and so tired, plus my body aches alot. What a trip. Remember I posted on Wed. (I think) that we broke down in Shamrock, TX.? Then we got it fixed and on the road. The van acted up in OK. but we managed to get all the way to Lonoke, AR. and that is when we started having big problems again. It was another part that we needed, this time the coils or something like that, so we had to get that taken care of and then we hit the road the next morning (Fri.). Well the van still acted up even after that part was fixed, this time we stopped in Jackson, TN. at Casey Jones and we stayed the night and saw a mechanic on Sat. Morning. He told us we needed a new transmission. We had no money for that, he said we may or may not make it to VA. We figured we would have to try at least. We did break down on the side of the freeway a few times, cause the van would stop. We would have to sit and let "her" cool down (the transmission needed to cool) then we would go and we did stay at a rest area for about 1 1/2 hours to let the van rest. Last night we stayed in Abingdon, VA. The van needed a good rest. Then yesterday morning we started to try and hit Roanoke. My ex-husband met us in Roanoke and towed us the rest of the way. I was so excited cause I got to see Matthew too. He's my 16 year old that lives with his dad. It's so good to finally be here. I'm gonna be posting some auctions soon, I gotta raise money for groceries because we had to spend our extra money we were saving for the groceries fixing the van each time it quit. Thank you all for your love, support and prayers, we really appreciate them so much. I need to go offline and go get a po box right now. Our son is gonna get me one (he's so good to us). I will try to be back on later. I'm on his computer cause I need to get a wi fi cable wireless modem, cause he's on cable for internet and he doesn't have a house phone, so I can hook up with my internet service. Oh Rebekka, it is good to see you post!! Wow---sounds like you had quite the trip; bless your hearts....that had to be stressful to you all.

Here's hoping things will be brighter from now on. Please watch your (son's) mail...I sent a bubble envie filled w/coupons late last week. Let me know your new PO box # when you get a chance to email me.

I figured it would be easier than trying to post to each reply, that way I don't clog up the board too much. LOL. Thank you for all your love, support, prayers and well wishes. I am so happy to finally be here, it was pretty hectic and stressful but am glad it's over now. We are getting settled in. I still don't have internet, I'm using my son's computer for now. Cheyenne is thrilled to be here and I think this week we are just gonna do reading and then next week start homeschooling again in full swing, I'm still exhausted. Our puppy dog feels right at home and loves it here. She hated riding in the van. Poor thing. Anyways I need to go fix some dinner. I will try and be on at least once a day or so.
