A friend of mine got a computer from someone. My friend wanted me to clean it up, inside & out, & let her know what I thought it was worth as she plans to buy it.
Ok, last night my son & I start cleaning everything off. My son pops off all the dirty keys from the keyboard & says, "OMG, this is bad". Then he says, "OMG, there's a maggot in here"! I'm like what???? I asked if it was alive, he says yes, I don't believe him so I take a look. Yes! (shuddering severely here!) There was a blasted LIVE maggot in the keyboard!! Double ugh! I told my son to get it out & toss in the toilet. He said he wasn't touching it. LOL So, I get a toothpick & kleenex & toss it in the toilet. My son says to make sure I flush the toilet after tossing that horribly gross thing in there. LOL
OMG!! That keyboard was SO aweful w/gunk all over in it & stuck on. Whoever had it must've been a major PIG eating & slobbing all over it, not to mention there was obviously some spoiled meat that had gotten into it if that stinking maggot was in there, no doubt having a feeding frenzy on all the crud caked in it. Had it been me who got that computer, I would've tossed that keyboard in the outside trash & just gotten a new one cuz that was just TOO much! LOL
I thought I'd seen it all but that really took the cake! My son & I took turns cleaning it off & now you couldn't tell it was even the same keyboard. However, my expectations are now open & God help me if I find a dead mouse or something inside the tower! LOL
Just had to share this eye-opening experienc with y'all. LOL
