Hey everyone,
I have a few mins. to finally post an update. We've had alot of problems and I ask that you please pray for us. Last Friday we got a small Uhaul Trailer and the van didn't do well with it, so we had to take it back. We got a smaller/cheaper storage and left stuff that we couldn't fit in the van there. We have a whole house full of stuff in storage in VA. Anyways we didn't leave Saturday as planned, we just had so much going on etc. We finally left on Monday around 5pm or so. The first night we stayed in Winslow, AZ. We've seen alot of neat things and Cheyenne is really enjoying herself. Our puppy dog only seems to be happy once we hit the hotel rooms. LOL. Last night we stayed in Tucacumari (sp?) New Mexico. We left there this morning but we've had some problems with the van all day, so we finally had a guy come out and look at it and he said we have to replace the CV Shaft (we just replaced it in March or so). He said that we needed to go to the next larger town and they would have the part. We got to Shamrock, TX. and we got the part and found a mechanic. He's going to fix it tommorrow morning, so we are staying here in a cute little motel. I thought it was gonna be icky, but the inside is very nice. We really didn't need this added expense, but we had no choice but to have it fixed. I'll just have to raise some money once I get to VA. Hopefully I can post an auction or two. That way we will have groceries for the month. It sucks only getting paid once a month. We don't get paid til the 30th. Anyways sorry for sounding so whiny, I know alot of people are having hard times right now. Please just pray, I appreciate all of you so very much. Tommorrow we hope to make it to the ARK/TN Border. We are gonna also try and go to Casey Jones in Jackson, TN, we always stop there on our trips/moves. Anyways I hope all of you are doing well. I will try to post tommorrow night or Friday. you should have your daughter keep a diary of her trip cross country and take pics so she can make a scrap book
that way she would have some neat memories
