Boy i'll tell ya.. anymore, if there weren't such good deals at Walgreens, i'd NEVER walk in there! It's gets to the point where I dread walking in, and I feel drained walking out! I just came from there. Here's what happened.. Anybody else have some complaints about these people?
1. I was trying to find the space heaters that are on sale. They are on the back page of this week's ad there. Couldn't find them anywhere so I asked an employee.. She said they didn't have any! HUH? I showed her the ad and then she said, "I don't know where they are". I finally located them myself. Now THAT'S SAD!!
2. Every time I go in, I have to have both the Walgreens rebate booklet AND their currant ad cuz they refuse to put signs on things most the time.. I have to constantly refer to their ads to find exactly WHAT products are on sale. I had to do this TWICE today on the appliances AND the heater.
3. Up at the register, I had purchases totaling over $40. I had $16 in Register Rewards from last week and the week before.. She started scrutinizing these coupons and reading all the fine print and I finally told her that I KNEW for a fact all $16 worth would work because I had purchases of over $40. I told her just scan the darn things! She finally did and of course all of them went thru just fine...
4. Here's a doosey. Last week did you catch the Zantac offer on THEIR website? I should've printed the whole page up and brought it in with me cuz not only did the employee have NO idea about this offer, but when she called up the manager, HE didn't either.. The offer was that if you bought Zantac and entered the upc online from the Walgreen's site, you got a FREE coupon for Zantac printed out. The manager looked at that darned coupon over and over and acted like I was trying to pull the wool over his eyes.. I actually DARED him to go online himself and pull up last week's ad so HE could be informed! I told him i'd wait... I told him the coupon beeped at the register cuz I have a cheap printer but it's STILL VALID!! FINALLY, he let the employee manually put it in the register but I felt like CRAP!
5. I went to use my re-fillable Walgreens giftcard, you know, the one that they give you 10% each time to use instead of getting a cash rebate? Would you believe she wasn't going to give it to me back to be re-filled? She said, "you don't need this now that it's empty, do you?" I said, "well, OF COURSE I NEED IT, geezzzz!!!" They are just not informed there AT ALL!!
When all was said and done, I got over $40 worth of stuff for $10.05 after I used my register rewards, coupon, and gift card plus I got back another $10 rr on the appliances and there's a rebate on the heater...
shewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!! I'm pooped!!

SOOO.... even if they have 5 different offers in their sales circular that give Register rewards catalinas...you will only get ONE printed out. SO just do separate transactions for each product. I usually haven't had trouble as long as I'm just buying ONE of each sale item...but no one will allow more than 1 of each offer....which is fine.
As far as USING the register rewards...basically they usually fall back on the "if it goes through...then OK".... but just be sure you have as many ITEMS as you do coupons. The register rewards catalinas count as manufacturer's coupons.... so you must have enough items or they won't make it through. (I tend to grab some little clearance items if I have catalinas and coupons)
Best of luck..... I haven't had too much trouble...but I tend to know what I'm after before going in there....as their signs are often in the wrong spot...especially in the health and beauty area.... tiny products...small shelf space.
