lauren 5|3|I now keep all my bad trader alerts from Garnette and all my own info I've compiled on one.....it is so much easier for some reason to find what I'm looking for and I can now edit them (I cant edit anything if I leave it in email folders). I have all my pics on two others that I used to store in hard drive. And another one for misc documents I have saved. |saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|19:56:54|11/01/2008|
"Middle age is when you choose your cereal for the fiber, not the toy." 7|4|i've thought of doing that with the pix|Beaglesfly|lmllr77@aol.com|20:01:34|11/01/2008|
I burned all my pix to cd when I was getting a new computer, and when I went to use the disc, it said it was corrupt.
For emails, I just set up a different folder for emails I want to be separated (like "ebay", "refunding", etc)....but I see where you can't edit them if left in your email folder.
Same with documents, I just make up different folders for them.
I should do that with my pix though as I think they're starting to eat up my drive.
lauren 8|5|Lauren, you would love the little Flash Drive/Keys (m)|maraj|maraj64@hotmail.com|20:14:55|11/01/2008|
There's no need for burning software & having to go thru the burning process - you just plug in the Flash Key to a USB port on your computer & drag & drop. :) Much faster & alot more durable too. :)

23|5|Tami, I've used the flash drives for other things|Beaglesfly|lmllr77@aol.com|22:18:12|11/02/2008|
I was working a second job for a while where I did proofreading, and sometimes I'd transfer my work to a flash drive to take back and forth.
I just never really considered them for pictures because they're so tiny, I'm afraid I'll lose them and then my pictures are gone forever. Plus, the flash drives I've had are only 32 megs (I know, sad...lol), so I figured they'd get filled up quick....although honestly I never sat down and figured out how many gigs an average picture is to see how many would fit on a flash drive.
I do have a couple of 1 GB now, so maybe I should give that a shot!
lauren 24|1|sometimes you can get free ones through offers|Beaglesfly|lmllr77@aol.com|22:20:11|11/02/2008|
I got one from Centrum, a 1 gb one from Care 360 (don't even remember how I got that one...lol), and a 32 meg one from The Glenlivet.
