Hi, I decided to try paypal and I am so confused about it.
I have some questions, if anyone can help me I would appreciate it very much.
1. Do you need to confirm your account with your bank or credit card if you just want the money sent to you by check?
2. If you want the money to stay in your paypal do you have to confirm it with your bank or credit card?
3. Say you have money in paypal and you want to pay a store and you have enough funds, do you have to put in your bank account or credit card in paypal..
4. How does paypal really work? Do you give your email to the buyer they put funds in paypal and you confirm it?
Also, again do you need a bank account or a credit card when people send you money?

Do you need to confirm your account with your bank or credit card if you just want the money sent to you by check? No. But I find transfering money to your bank is less waiting on a check, and no fee, as a check they charge a fee for processing it, which can add up over time.

3. Say you have money in paypal and you want to pay a store and you have enough funds, do you have to put in your bank account or credit card in paypal.. On line stores usually have a pay pal button, so you just click that and pay with pay pal. If you want to use your pay pal account at a actual store you need the pay pal debit card.
4. How does paypal really work? Do you give your email to the buyer they put funds in paypal and you confirm it? Yes, you give your e-mail addy that you use with pay pal to the buyer and it goes through automatically, no need for you to confirm it.
Also, again do you need a bank account or a credit card when people send you money? And no you don't need a bank account for people to send you money. I sent my son money over to his account and he does'nt have it tied in with a bank info or a cc.

I use to get the checks in the mail which took sometimes 2 wks to get, always worried about them getting lost in the mail, so went with giving them by bank info.
