Im having a big problem with my computer. It does the automatic update downloads, I suppose for the OS and I have crappy dial up, so its been working on downloading it every time Ive gotten online since Wed night. Today it finally finished d/l'g and it said it was installing. Well, since Wed I havent been able to open additional windows or tabs. I have IE 7.x?. Ya know, when you click a link in an email, it normally pops open a new window? Or you click the blue E on the task bar and you get a new window? Well, IF it opens it, it just sits there doing nothing, just white but 99% of the time it wont even pop up the new window, it just kinda freezes the window that is open for like a min and then nothing. So, of course, I havent been able to do any of my normal surfing cause I can normally only get one page to open at a time. I did a disk clean up, a disk defrag, anti spy ware, deleted my history and temp files and even tried a system restore that didnt work so I undid it. Any idea's whats happening and how to fix it? Thanks so much to anyone who can help.
