I didn't get a call about my results (have to go to the hospital every morning for testing) today. They are now closed.
I am giving myself Lovanox shots 2x a day and taking Coumidn(sp). Last night they upped my meds. Now these dosages I am getting depend on by resulst for the day. Since I didn't get a call, should i take the same amount I did last night?
This is all new to me. Just started taking this on Monday when they found a blood clot that came as a result of my surgery last week.

3|2|If it does happen that they forget to call you before the end of the day, you should be able to get in contact with the ordering doctor (youre surgeon I am assuming) through their answering service...ask your doctor for the number so you have it handy! i got thinner blood in july when i was at hopistal.
i have comuidan for life and i go to clinic that they check on me and check on my high pressure.
i had middle stroke. but lucky i was told to go to er asap when my primary dr ordered x-rays on that day pm and primary dr called my home and told me to go to ER asap. so i went there and they find my blood block in my head. i would not drive to work.
now i am better now and take pills for rest of my life. also i have to avoid any cut and foods too. no salt or junk which it have too fat or chlo. (sp) anymore.

yep what i was told by dr and clinic too.
right now i have 3 pills until dr tell me stop.
i still take comudian to prevent stroke in the future.
i have to avoid any salt or green or vit. "K".
lucky i can walk to can see and can drive after left side.
i stayed in two weeks in hopital and had to go to P.T. for 4 weeks (twice a weeks) until i get back to my health better.
i have no work for two months and two weeks. i was very lucky that i had plenty sick leave which i save sick leave after 20 years of federal job which i work for.
i went back to work last month and had to take easy and no stress period.
that s why i am out of trading and stop trade any more becuz plus two stores is no longer double coupon. two stores vons and raplhs only take up to 1.00 off.
i don't like it but too bad for me.
:-D 8|1|Robin, sorry to say but it may be for life, DH is on them for life, they told him 6-8 weeks in the beginning but his Protime was never where it should be without them :( the only sucky thing is you have to get your protime checked once a month. like kandywolf said better taking pill than avoid getting another clot.
depend on dose on comudian.
my dose is 5mg now until they doctor change dose.
