When my youngest son was in high school we too had a "band"???? that practiced in our basement. Son was the drummer, there were 3 electric guitars and an electric synthezier and a dreadful singer. They would all drag in their amps etc. and their little "band groupies" (girlfriends etc.) would follow them to the practices. I provided drinks and snacks. The noise was bad and the current cat wouldn't even walk on our kitchen floor because it shook. Son is now 33 and lives in his own home and the noise is gone. I always felt that while they were here making that ??music?? I knew where they were and what they were doing. A busy child stays out of mischief so it was worth it to me. This son told me the other day that he is giving his drum set to the ex-singers son who is now about 5 years old and he is going to start drum lessons. The drums are now moving to another state.
