I posted this item on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MESOX:IT&item=160288644329

The lady purchased it and now wants to return it because her daughter is a size 4T/5T, and she stated it did not fit her. and the top is too revealing, (not really sure a toddler has anything to reveal) I don't have a return policy listed, my bad but I never have had anyone ask to return anything. I don't think I misrepresented the item, It is a Medium 4-6, my daughter is a a size 5 and it fits her. What would you do? I don't want to be a bad seller, but I don't want to be out my listing/selling/pp/shipping fees.

any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks so much, Stacy 1|1|Question....is the costume a girls 4-6? If she assumed it was a 4T-6T, that would be a totally different size, so the fault would be hers for not reading/not knowing the difference. |saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|19:29:33|10/12/2008|

Most sellers standard return policy is refund given when shipped back. I think that is even a choice under "choose a refund policy". So, if she mails it back to you, you give her money back. OR, you can take the negative feedback and not worry about it.

By the way, I think the outfit is adorable, and if she does return it, let me know. My daughters would LOVE to have it!

So if I refund the cost of the item, do I just take a loss on the fees? It's like $1.50 not including paypal. 4|1|I don't think you misrepresented it and feel that it's her loss. If you do give her a refund, then I would subtract shipping and your fees~*~|RebekkaVA|queen_vulture@msn.com|20:35:05|10/12/2008|

u have it in the auction that you do not accept returns unless you have grossly misrepresented an item??? she probabley wants to use it for a party and then return it lololol 8|1|You did state in your own details that...|Barb1267|barb04@frontiernet.net|11:27:51|10/13/2008|

...you do not accept returns unless you grossly misrepresented the item. I do NOT see any indication that you misrepresented anything. You stated the size as given on the tags. The buyer could have asked for measurements if she wanted to be sure of the fit. I agree with the other posters that the buyer pays return shipping and all FEES will be deducted from her $9 refund. That doesn't leave much of a refund at all. If I were the buyer I would just relist the item and hope to resell it to get most of my money back that way. And as far as being too revealing you included a very clear picture that shows that it is a thin strapped item with that sloped front. She could see what it was.

I would not take a return on this. I would just say that it was described correctly and the photo was very clear. Sorry she is not happy, but it happens sometimes.

I did offer a refund of the purchase price of the costume, not the shipping. She said she will just take it to a consignment store. Thanks for the responses.
