For the heck of it I called the Walmart in Hoptown within walking distance of the Kmart. Told them about the double coupon deal going on and asked if they would honnor the flyer. Well they of course said no so I went on to say that the IGA near them is also doing a double deal on Tuesdays and how a bunch of us gals have been making the trip to Hoptown to shop at their store as they are the nearest super walmart around and now we come on Tuesdays to shop at the IGA and Kmart only and that these stores have realy gone out of there way to help us stretch our dollars so our loyaltee is now to them until Walmart can change as well. The mangaer there said she would have to look into this. So folks I think if we call our local Walmarts with the stories like mine or email corporate maybe just maybe we can at least put a bug in there ear. One never knows. Yes I know its walmart I am talking about heck half the time they cant do a regular coupon but who knows. Anyone else think this is a good idea. Just a thought. 2|2|WalMart being a conglomerate/monopoly.. you are only talking to 1 manager in thousands.. my thoughts is It won't make a difference.. Doubles are for limited time, and by the time a manager asks, finds his corporate response, other double $$ deals are way over.. Just my opinion.. nancygal 4|4|This WalMart, recently did the upgrade from blue to all brown building.. white shelves to black shelves.. etc... all fancified.. and the prices seemed to jump up a little..
