I am so upset Walmart will not take Internet printed coupons anymore no matter if its in color. Went the other day and they did. Forgot somethings and went back and handed her the coupons and she refused to take them. I had even called the manager a few weeks earlier and he said that they did. Didn't have a problem. I called Friday 10th and talked to the store manager and he said not any more too much fraud going on so they don't want to take any chances. What a disappointment to me. I loved my Internet printed coupons. Even got my co-workers using them and now look what happens. Bi-Lo now is even questioning them. R there anymore stores that r refusing to take them? I guess I will have to call the store before I go to see if they will or not to keep from getting embrassed in the line. Just a little hot under the collar.

My Wal-Mart annoyed me this week to, they take IP's and they price match but that is it. Well earlier in the week I was there and a woman was using a store coupon from another store, the cashier said she did not know if they take it, she called the manager who said they will take all other store coupons except $ off $$ purchase and they will take expireds, from manufacturer and stores, so I went yesterday with 2 expired manufacturer coupons, she said she would not take them and called the manager, the same guy from earlier in the week and he said they do not take expired, when I said I heard him say it with my own ears he looked at me like I had 10 heads and just said no ma'am we dont take them, I guess it depnds on the day you go!?

2|1|Link inside to print WM's coupon policy directly from their site....when I printed it, I printed the screen page, didnt use the print button on the page, so they could see it was from their site.|saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|08:58:08|10/11/2008|

I carry it with me in my coupon binder so if I get the "flip-flop" from a CSM or cashier, I have it ready to show them.
Also, if it continues to be a problem at that particular store, call or email WM corporate, include the link to their own coupon policy in the email.

My son is LP in our local Wal Mart and they just had a case where a guy was using fake printed free coke coupons took them for alot he got caught now think about all those who do it and don't get caught and they all take the store for big money no wonder stores don't want to take them and it also then makes them question good people who use coupons the way they are supposed to jmo 6|2|I agree, T....those who try to cheat the system are making it harder for the couponers who are trying to save money and be smart about doing so...|saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|12:35:48|10/11/2008|

Does that mean that even though the manager says no to internet coupons that they will still have to take them or I need to call the store and ask.
michelle 5|2|If your store isnt following their own policy, contact corporate to ask that the manager be contacted and informed/trained on the coupon policy...all stores should have the same procedures following corporate policy :)|saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|12:35:10|10/11/2008|

Called the Walmart that I normally go to and asked again and the store manager said no to Internet coupons. Called the other Walmart on the other side of town and the manager said as long as it scans no problem. Now that seems like a double standard to me. Each store manager gets to make the runs up as they go. I then went and contacted the coporate office. Can't wait to see what will happen next.
Will keep everyone posted of this.

And I have had to pull it out. An individual store cannot override a corporate policy.
11|2|I would have to disagree on that If a store is being ripped off they do have a right to put an end to it It is up to the manager of the store |teener|teenerzacsneenee@yahoo.com|15:38:51|10/11/2008|

The person who got caught at our WM was printing them off a site where you go and register and then you can print My Ds just told me that the GF of this guy ( who was employed at WM) has been coming in and moaning about how they fired him and such and how they have been going to our Meijers and using the same coupons LP at this WM is now going to contact the Meijers store 12|3|I can see in individual situations how that could be implemented....the Bricks coupons and similar now have a 'watermark'/security mark on them so they can't be scanned or copied. My WM will take any printed coupon as long as it scans and doesnt look fake (fuzzy, grainy, etc) and is not expired. I generally only print from Bricks affiliated sites (coupons.com, eversave.com, Betty Crocker, Pillsbury, BTFE/Gen Mills, etc), so I dont ever have any problems. But I dont think it' :(s right for the store mgr to just say "No, we dont accept IP coupons" as a general rule if the corporate policy is to accept them. :(|saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|16:29:47|10/11/2008|

"Middle age is when you choose your cereal for the fiber, not the toy." 13|3|No store has the right to make it's own rules... they aren't franchises, they are corporate owned stores|whitmarg|robin@whitmannet.com|21:19:22|10/11/2008|

However, if you look on the bricks coupons you'll notice that there is a code. If that code has already gone thru the system and the store chain subscribes to the service, teh coupon will not scan and that can be refused. It does come up with a specific code.

I had one cashier at a Walmart tell me one time that they can only take IP coupons up to $.50 because they don't get their money back. I asked her where she got that information and she said it was from her boss who said it was on the corporate website. So, out came the page from my coupon holder in my purse and I read it over and over and said "nope, don't see that." She called her boss over and when she saw what I was reading, she immediately entered my coupons in.

Caused me to say a big "ah ha." 14|1|not 1 store in my area has taken them in 3yrs.|aliciamk|ohiogirl279@yahoo.com|22:42:28|10/11/2008|

i called around when i 1st moved here and they said to much fraud so all the stores around here followed suit and stopped around the same time. 15|1|WM super centers stay open 24 hrs but I know of at least one in our area that does not why because that is when most of it's theft was taking place |teener|teenerzacsneenee@yahoo.com|22:43:38|10/11/2008|

so it truely is depending on what keeps the store from loosing money
