It has been a while since I have gotten tires for my vehicle, but we need to get tires for my sisters trailblazer and she got a few prices from places, but what the heck is going on with tires???? Are they gold plated or something now, cause they are soooo expensive, the one quote was $680 and the other was $746 Is that average now for 4 tires (not really snow tires but high tread--we live in Wyoming and are gonna get snow TOMORROW :( Anyway just wnated to know if that is what they are costing now, cause I am helping her pay for them and that is going to break my budget!

I had an '03 Trailblazer, and if I remember correctly, they had an odd size tire on them. Larger than a passenger car and not quite as big a a truck tire. DH had made a comment that those tire would cost a lot to replace. see if you can negotiate a price that includes the putting on, rotating and balancing, we had to do this, also lifetime warranty and some number of years guarantee... I paid $600 for a set of Cooper defenders 80,000 mile tires for my F150 last spring and got a rebate of $125 if you intend on driving this vehichle daily or lots of miles buy a good brand of tires.
