Does anyone here know anything about a company called VSNL phone??? They have taken $500.00 out of my checking account with my debit card . I only get $600.00 so you know I am devasted. I have never heard of them. PLEASE HELP if you can.

Yes I contacted the bank. They looked it up. No address and no phone number. Just VSNL PHONE.They told me that it hasn't posted yet and they can't do anything until it does and to call back tomorrow and we would do something about it.In the meantime checks are bouncing everywhere. First of the month bills.

international phone service. They service India (phone and dial up internet) and you can buy phone cards from them to place international calls.
I don't know if they are in the US.

What do I do now.? I guess that I need to try to find a number on the computer and call them. Please pray for me that I can stop this or I,m going to be in a lot of trouble.Utilities will be disconnected and all. Thanks for your help.I'll let ya'll know what happens.Be careful, it might happen to you. Only paypal has my card number ,so I don't know how they got it.

Was your debit card stolen or ? Because how else would that person know about this debit card as you have to use a pin number? I recently went through this with my Mom (we have joint account as she's in nursing home) and last time I used this debit card was in May. Unknown to me I had lost it (fell out of my wallet) because I got bank statement last week with 4 charges totalling $1800.00 charges from FL and AZ airports! I live in NJ. So of course went to bank right away, cancel debit card and they told me I had to file police report which I did and they're investigating. I would gather whoever took my card, took a long time figuring out the pin number as these charges were made in early Sept. I also recently had to cancel 2 visa credit card accounts because some charges I found on my statements that I never made, including a some from overseas! I do order online so I assume somebody hacked into my computer. It is just amazing the thievery that is going on and makes me so mad when it happens. I have a Visa card through Washington Mutual. I got an alert saying my account was over the limit and I knew it wasn't. I went in my account and there was a charge from BP Oil (which I don't use) in Fl. I live in PA!! I was so upset and called them right away. Luckily I did because the customer service representative said, "I'm glad you called because a lot of other charges are trying to go through." I'm super careful with my credit cards. I only have it linked to PayPal and use it on sites like half.com and Amazon. I went to Europe this summer but no other cards I used had unauthorized charges on it. Thankfully they took off the charge and all fees associated with it and cancelled my card. I shred all my documents, so I’m really angered someone did this. All I can think of is someone hacked into a database that I used to order something from. I use 2 firewalls on my computer. I really hope you get this taken care of quickly. I know how upsetting it is.

It may be a start.. just don't understand your circumstance or if someone tapped your debit card.
I went to the http://www.vsnl.in/ website and it comes up as Tata communications..
They offer-- Global calling card, Wifi, Trueroots-international calling, broadband, etc..
