I finally made an appt., which is in a couple hrs. here-----to address my indigestion/heartburn issues with my Dr. I've had it. I can hardly eat, while I have *some* of an appetite, as soon as I eat ANYTHING, I end up suffering for hrs. afterwards...it's not even worth it!! I am losing weight, and the discomfort I feel lasts all day, every day. I'm losing sleep as well, since the gurgling tummy and frequent trips to the bathroom each night interrupt my rest.
It's time to try and get to the bottom of what's ailing me.
I'll post later today and update what my Dr. thinks.

i rember all to well what it was like before i had mine taken out it hasnt been quite a year yet but if thats what alling you then you will feel much better after you have it removed.

...I wanted to update you on my ENT appt. earlier this wk. Turns out my eardrum is "yellow" vs. clear, like most people's, I *thought* that is what she said?! Anyway, she said my dr. mistook that to mean I had fluid in my ears, and that she would have made the SAME mistake. However, after listening to my symptoms and learning about my medical history, she did a pressure test which showed that I have pressure in both ears. This stems directly from my sinuses, apparently....I cannot begin to explain but something is swollen behind my nose and it's causing pressure in my ears! She put me BACK on nasal steroid spray, which my Dr. had pulled me off of in the past two yrs., but I'd been on regularly for yrs. before then!!
She said it will likely take me a couple mo's. to feel better, as this didn't occur overnight. She's following up in 2 mo's. with me. I liked the specialist a lot, and when I think back, it's been a downhill slide for the past couple yrs. with me, so perhaps she's on to something!!
