7 0|0|I think the Kmart cashiers made this up!|Gammiesue|snschapin@yahoo.com|19:10:37|10/01/2008|

I live in Florida...land of no doubles! So, I was excited to see our Kmart participating for the first time in the Super Doubles this week. I went today with coupons and found a few things. They really weren't well stocked, I thought prices were high, but managed to find about six things. While checking out, the cashier looked over my cpns, huddled with another cashier to look over my cpns, and then came back and told me that I couldn't use two of the cpns because Do Not Double was printed on the top of the cpn. Huh?? This is super doubles week at Kmart! I told her that didn't seem right and could she verify with someone else. Nope! That other cashier was the head cashier and her decision was final.

Has anyone else found this to be true at their Kmart? Many of today's cpns have DND printed on them and it just seems to me that this could be over-ridden during Super Doubles week.

Would love to hear about your shopping trip.

Thanks! 1|1|sorry but i think they are correct.....|athena|aburns1982@hotmail.com|19:25:41|10/01/2008|

and wioth the extremely high prices kmart has, a $2 extra coupons won't kill them i don't think. jmho

about 2 years ago the kmart in perry florida did super doubles and it was to clean out there old stock. i know this because we are kin to someone in management who works there. now, not all kmarts did this back then, not like they are now, but it does seem to me that kmart might be trying to do just that............ i went to buy 2 boxes of triscuits last week using 2 .55 coupons doubled would have brought the cost down to 1.40 each BUT they ALL expired in october of THIS year. no way was i buying those especially when i know that the boxes at walmart are expiring in nov of NEXT year. also a lot of the items i did get had dust on them, and not just a little bit either! lol

in any event, the cashiers are gettign paid an hourly wage and those wages will NOT be short-handed due to double couponing.
