Thought I would share this with everyone..thought it was kinda of neat. :) We purged and painted our puter room this past weekend and found in a very old cookbook some coupons from waay back. They were still all attached to each other with the dotted cut lines on them. All were dated exp june 30 1978 and for Wylers drink mix various sizes, realemon lemon juice and Snows Chowders. Found it interesting too that the ReaLemon label was exactly the same looking as it is today..hadn't changed at all. 1|1|I found a hamburger helper .07/1 coupon from 1977 the other day.|dlpavitt|dlpavitt@att.net|10:42:39|10/01/2008|

Thanks for looking, Donna 2|1|That is so cool though! :) You should make a scrapbook page out of those for yourself, lol.....keep them in one of those plastic pocket things. When my Dh's grandma died, he found some OLD Kraft mac n cheese...seriously, the exp date was 1980....his brother LOVES Kraft mac n cheese, so we gave it to him as a memorobilia kind of thing, he loved it! after Dad passed away. I had to help her go thru their 30 yrs of marriage stuff PLUS the house belonged to my Dad's parents so stuff there of their from who knows how many years as well. Found some of the original Lemon Jell-O pkgs..never opened..in a cabinet in the basement stairwell. It was always dark in there..one of the 'icky' little basements no one ever went in. I can't remember EVER going down there myself. Creepy, dark and spidery. Bleck! LOL Anyhoo..sure wish I had known puters and Ebay were coming in the future. We tossed out TONS of stuff that would probably sell for a MINT today! Even glass gallon milk jugs from Burger Dairy (they had the foil lids on them back then), really old collectable duck decoys..just tons of stuff. No one had any need for it back then and definately no where to store then. If we only knew....*sigh* Oh well..can't miss what ya never had (money wise)huh? *smile* 4|3|I told DH's brother if I saw that mac n cheese on Ebay, I was getting my cut!
