Ok, so I am kinda new to Mypoints. It says I currently have 1,469 points. So, I thought I could redeem them for a gift card that cost 1,450 points. However, it says I don't have enough points and then I see where it says "Available to Redeem: 293". So, how long does it take for the "Available to Redeem" points to increase. Is there any way to speed that along??? I was under the impression that the big "You have ____" points at the top meant I could redeem that many.

my points ( you log into it there) it will show which points are pending for what items and amounts of those points. Often it takes to 2 weeks to get 'certain' points but they will show up. I know ..kind of frustrating but they wait for 'verification' from those particular merchants I believe that you have purchased those items or did what you had to do at their site to get those points. Once verified, they show up on your acct. Hope that helps explain it a bit. 5|2|if you go into your mypoints account, go to weekly activity or weekly statements. on the far left side, it will show date, and under that it will show the date that you earned your points. if they are pending points, it will show PENDING and under that in parenethese, it will show the date that they will be pending until. right now, i have some pending until 10-29-08, 10-10-08, etc. most of the surveys from the mypoints site take at least 30 days to clear the points, even if you don't qualify for the survey and only get the 10 points for trying to qualify, those still pend for 30 days. hth.|turdra|tammyjoblake@hotmail.com|12:15:29|09/30/2008|

How long does it take "My points" to be redeemable. It says I have 1,400 points, 1,200 points pending, but only 233 points available to redeem. So, when do the full 1,400 points become available to redeem?

You will just have to keep checking your account there. Usually it states it can take a couple weeks for bigger offers to be verified by those venders you bought from so you can get your points but they will come thru. Nothing you can do to hurry it up. It's totally up to the MyPoints people on their end to credit your points to your account. Mine have always been pretty quick to come thru but there again I have not taken advantage of any of their offers like purchasing a item online and get "x" amounts of points for every dollar spent there etc. I just do the click thrus and also get points from Buzzz Agent items as well. I have already gotten enough points for 2 Red Lobster $10 gift cards and am almost there with enough to get larger gift card again for whatever.
