I have been watching the news on BPA and wanted to find out which companies use it. Recent studies show it can contribute to heart disease and since I already have heart failure, I want to keep this stuff out of my house.
This is what I found so far~ Tupperware does use BPA in products except for the children's containers. Not a whole lot of good that will do to keep it from leaching into our foods from the containers so I threw out all my tupperware.
Glad and Ziploc do NOT use BPA so I am going to buy their containers.
The FDA still says that BPA is safe but I don't trust the FDA much at all. Can't even tell you how many meds I have taken over the years that have been eventually pulled off the market so I don't want to be a guinea pig for them anymore.
It is also used in some baby bottles, if my kids were babies, I would be buying glass bottles right now.
