Our local SuperValu store has some pretty good sales this week....
Gen Mills cereals and some other Gen mills stuff (Fiber One toaster pastries, fruit snacks) are on sale 6/$10....there is also a store ad coupon for $5/10 Gen Mills products, which includes all those cereals on sale, plus alot of other items on sale in the ad (Old El Paso included, Pillsbury stuff and some other stuff). I am pairing that up with some manufacturers Gen Mills coupons, Pillsbury sweet roll coupons and $1/2 Old El Paso (gonna get some refried beans and shells) to use with the sales and in ad coupon...
Breakdown:
4 Gen Mills cereals $1.66 each=$6.64 minus $1.75 in manufacturer coupons ($1/2 Gen Mills and a 75c/1 Kix)=$4.89
4 Old El Paso Refried Beans $0.75 each=$3.00 minus $2.00 in manuf. coupons ($1/2)=$1.00 (might sub 2 of the refried beans for shells, not sure yet, but that wouldnt change the deal)
2 Pillsbury sweet rolls $1.67 each=$3.34 minus $2.00 in manuf coupon ($1/1 internet printed)=$1.34
subtotal=$7.23 minus $5/10 ad coupon
TOTAL for above items=$2.23! :)
Then the free GG Steamers--they are on sale for $1 and I have $1/1 coupons for those...also, Jif PB on sale 2/$4, I have a few $1/1 coupons (they are for Jif to Go, but have in small print for 'any' Jif), so peanut butter for $1 :)
Also going to get some Old El Paso taco seasoning mix, on sale 3/$2, a Savers Booklet in the store has coupons for $1/2, so will get those for 16cents each after I buy 6.
A big thank you and props to homerlisa for tipping me off on the Steamers, taco seasoning mix and saver booklets...that got me to looking at the ad a little closer for the other deals... :)
